Alexandra Maria Lara, a Romanian and German actress working in film and TV is best known for films like Rush as well as Downfall Youth Without Youth Control. The only child of Romanian actress Valentin Platareu, Alexandra started her career in show business at an early age. By the time she reached the age of sixteen, she had secured prominent roles in a variety of television dramas. After her critically acclaimed role in the TV movie Der Tunnel, Alexandra went on to play other noteworthy parts, including Adolf Hitler's secretary, Traudljunge, in Downfall.
